Feelings of Nurses' Guide to Mixed Methods Research

I felt fortunate to be part of this class in which the topic of ethical principles in nursing was discussed. I felt knowledgeable to study these principles as they are the fundamentals in the profession of a nurse.

Evaluation and Analysis of Nurses' Guide to Mixed Methods Research

My lack of knowledge about the ethical principles in nursing resulted in the patient felt disrespected and I failed to maintain his dignity as well. So, this session taught me that nurses should respect each other and the patients as well by building up trust and establishing a favorable environment for the same. According to Ingham-Broomfield (2017), healthcare professionals like nurses and others should maintain the ethical principles that result in good decisions and judgments. These factors ensure the quality and effective care of the patient.

Conclusion on Nurses' Guide to Mixed Methods Research

The ethical principles include – the nurse should maintain an environment for patient well-being, the nurse should perform informed decision making, respect the patient and other health professionals, and deliver quality care (NMBA, 2018).

Action Plan on Nurses' Guide to Mixed Methods Research

In the future, I will follow the ethical principles of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA). If the nurses and other health professionals work according to the ethical principles, then the patient’s trust will be built more resulting in effective feedback, effective treatment plans, and patient-centered care (Ingham-Broomfield, 2016). All these factors will result in quality care for the patients.
