Understanding People and Organisations

Introduction to Understanding People and Organisations

Self-awareness is a mindfulness of one's character of independence. It isn't for any mistakes for awareness in the sense of philosophy. While the subject matter is to deal with monitoring one's condition and body and way of life, acknowledgement and awareness of that person's awareness should be in great importance. Mindfulness or self-awareness is how an individual intentionally knows and comprehends their character, emotions, thought processes, and wants. In this way, there are simply the classifications for the equivalent: inward mindfulness or internal self-awareness and outside mindfulness or external self-awareness (Armstrong, A. R., Galligan, R. F., & Critchley, C. R. 2011)

The survey of Clifton Strengths done in the group coaching and sessions was very helpful as it gave the rise to the learning and building the talent skills, it also helped me in particular to enhance the ability and capacity of the work I can manage and have the ability to do. The knowledge I grabbed from the survey was how to build and develop the capability to know about the self-awareness and strengths of an individual. Also, how to identify and acknowledge the talents an individual possess. The person who is unable to showcase the understanding about his or her talent, the survey helps in finding and bringing the same in front of the society and help the individual in gaining the confidence to believe in self-motivation. Also, I learned about how to manage and involve the talents within me in my professional development. It is very important for an individual to understand and to know about the talents he or she carries so that when needed it can be utilized in the professional life of the person.

The survey helped and surprised me by acknowledging my top five talents which I was unaware about. I have understood that I have the capability of doing any work which can be useful towards the society. This particular session has motivated me to enhance my talents and bring them in front of the society and has enhanced my courage and motivation. As I was going through my top five talents I surprisingly resonated as the habit of reading and discovering things have again motivated me to carry this particular talent for long and which shall also help me in my professional life as every field require research and new ideas and reading and discovering shall help me in this and will also be helpful for the society in future.

Such habit and talent shall help me in improving my skills in research and management as balancing through knowledge is something which according to me not everyone can pursue. Managing tough situations with ease is another thing I believe is another talent for maintaining peace and harmony in the workplace and which shall also maintain the decorum of professionalism. It is not only for me but people who have recognized it will be benefited with this talent. I also think that the individual should know about handling the tough and difficult situations in the professional life. Also knowing about the ways to deal with the situations and maintaining an image of not being affected by the hard times may help a person to handle matters and circumstances in the difficult times easily. In my concern I believe and enlighten my talent of being calm and not being short-tempered, this shall help me to deal with situations where a person could panic and might react to it with aggression. Being cold headed is the key to deal with great challenges and complete the task as professionals.

Conclusion on Understanding People and Organisations

It is very important to understand about the importance of self-awareness and emotional intelligence for a person to deal with the situations and circumstances which he or she has to go through as challenges either in person or in professional life, it is supposed to be his or her call to maintain balance in the work-life and in working for enhancing of the talents he or she has (Morley, M. J., Cerdin, J. L., & Moon, T. (2010). It is not easy to find the talent and knowledge about the capability of a person as it takes time in developing and for an individual it is a bit difficult to understand about the changes of the interest and of developing new interest while growing between the society who is already there to question you regarding the capabilities and skills one have (Akerjordet, K., & Severinsson, E. 2007).
